Elsie Bensley stands proudly next to the circa 1918 fire extinguisher that she helped donate from the bridge company.  This historic piece of fire-fighting equipment was restored by John Albright and dedicated by the Delaware Township Volunteer Fire department in September of 2004.

Special photo editions:
The Dingmans Bridge is located in what is considered to be a 50-year flood zone.  Since 1955,
significant flooding had been rare, usually in winter when ice jams can form along the river.

History was changed forever as three major floods effected the Upper
Delaware River region in less than 3 years between 2004 and 2006.
